I began playing the bass guitar when I was about 10 years old.  My parents traveled locally and sing gospel music for many years and they gave me my inspiration to play and sing.

I began my so called comedy career in 1992 when me and some other men from my church did a Branson style variety show for charity.  If went over so well we began doing shows every year at Christmas to help raise money for those in need.

  This continued up through 2002.  I then got my professional start in comedy at the Plummer Family Country Music Show at Knob Lick, Mo known as Nearly Famous.  I got the name from a pen I was given, it said, I am Nearly Famous. In September 2002 I did a live audition at their theater and so began my comedy career.  We have done shows in South Dakota, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, Illinois, Minnesota, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri since I joined them.  My dream was always to perform in Branson, Mo. and in May of 2007 that dream became true, as we did our first reunion show.  May 2014 was the 8th year in a row that I have performed there with 4 more shows this year.
